October 21 - Perry Canyon

I just came back from a 1.5 mile walk up to the 3rd bridge in Perry Canyon. The fall colors are glorious.

I picked a few leaves to bring home and stick in my journal.

I finished the Career Step Course last night. I did the Final - Pre Exam work today. Will study tomorrow and Monday then take the real thing on Tuesday. To say I am anxious is definitely an understatement. To pass I need a score of at least 85% - and 85 - 90 percent is just passing. A score of 90-95% is Honors. I am hoping for the minimum of a 90. I will pray that the Holy Ghost will bring things to my remembrance so I may do well. Randy says if I pass with Honors he will take Marley and I to Vernal to hunt dinosaur bone....if I just pass...I only get to go half-way Duchesne! Funny Guy.

Last night Julie was looking at wedding dresses online. I do not see a fairytale ending in her future. I don't even know if she and Nathan have actually dated. Ah well...I guess experience will have to do and I will say no more. Although I am heartbroken that it won't be the wedding I've dreamed for her.

I'm off to gather eggs and feed and water my chickens.
