EFT ---Emotional Freedom Technique

I had my first session of EFT with Becky Rocque. It went well and I discovered a hangup I didn't know I had and I was quite leery about the whole thing. But since Randy had tried it - and it is Christ-based therapy I thought I would try. Only an hour is totally exhausting.

I couldn't get back in to see Becky but found another practitioner here close by named Arden Compton. I have had about 5 appointments. One thing I like is that this is not self-perpetuating. If I don't want to go or feel the need, I don't need the appointment. Arden specializes in addiction recovery, abuse recovery and life success coaching.

Last night I had a major anxiety attack. Because of all the studying he has done, Randy was able to help me through it using the same techniques. I was grateful that he didn't laugh at me...I said, Hey I really need some help...I think this is what is wrong. He walked me through the sequences and process. Afterwards I was calm and able to practice.

I know there are people who think this stuff is hokey, but in keeping with overcoming previous abuse problems it has been a lifesaver. I don't want to be held captive. I want to attend church, take care of my grandchildren, love my children, have a job, and mostly be happy. And if this works, who am I to fight it?
There are no chemicals, no costly sessions, no drawn out confessions. No sharing of painful things!!!!
I love the part in the process where one can turn over the problem to the Savior. That is the most difficult part for me, but it does work.

This is not meant to be a commercial...just sharing!
