Blessings

I cannot count all the blessings we have had as a family while Graydon has been serving in Georgia. We have paid our tithing faithfully, and in return the Lord has blessed Randy with enough work to pay the bills. Not saying it hasn't been a near thing a few times, but always something has turned up.

Graydon was released at 5:30 p.m. I had no idea that I could even be there. I stayed home and I am so sorry I missed it. It must have been a glorious sprititual experience.

Graydon seems to be a peace, that he can sleep now. I have been making little snacks for him, bringing cold drinks, anything to keep him from being up and around. We could tell that he was exhausted. He had to get up and leave his apartment today at 3:30 a.m. to make it to the airport for the 6 a.m. flight.  He's regaled us with stories, and some profound things he has learned, and yet he seems content.

That is what I mostly hoped for, content and pride for a job well done. He gave it all he had inspite of knees and diabetes. I am so proud of him, his perserverance, and his ability to put the Lord first. At family prayer I was lucky to have it be my turn, and express our love for Graydon and his service. It has brought us closer together as a family.

Off to bed now. It is 11:30 and boy, I am so tired!
