What happens
when what one thinks is truth
and acts upon that
discovers—it is not truth
and not just the surmise is askew
but the action
has led to serious other actions?
Now, feeling more than a little silly,
and trying to wrap my brain
around where I went wrong
distraught
that I fooled myself so easily
